Great Dane Always Gets Excited When He Goes To Visit His 92-Year-Old Best Friend

Great Dane Always Gets Excited When He Goes To Visit His 92-Year-Old Best Friend

Sarah Jefferson November 16, 2019

Dogs are very much like children, no matter how old they get. They get excited over the tiniest things. This is perhaps one of the things about dogs that make them great pets. Their child-like personality makes them easy to please, and they're also keen to make their humans happy.

A Great Dane named Kernel is very much like a child. Kernel's favorite person is a 92-year-old woman who he loves to visit every time he gets a chance. Whenever Kernel is told that they're going to visit his Great Nana, he gets very excited.

Whenever Kernel visits his Great Nana, he gets spoiled with treats like a grandchild would from a grandmother. Kernel's mom and owner, Alyssa Berkovitz, visits her grandmother often. She always brings Kernel along, and it didn't take long for Alyssa's grandmother to fall in love with the big puppy.

Kernel also became attached to Alyssa's grandma, and they both love each other's company. Alyssa even stated that her grandmother would get more excited when Kernel comes for a visit. Alyssa's grandma even has a more affectionate way of calling Kernel than her. However, Alyssa's happy that her grandma and her dog love each other. It makes her happy to see both of them happy just by being with each other. For Alyssa, Kernel and her Grandma are her two greatest loves in her life, and nothing makes her happier than seeing the two of them being happy with each other's company.

Alyssa's grandma would often keep treats with her to give to Kernel. The first time Alyssa's grandmother met Kernel, he was a tiny puppy who was around three months old. Alyssa's grandma usually prefers the small fluffy dogs. However, Kernel's different. As a Great Dane, it didn't take long for Kernel to get huge. However, even when Kernel got so big, Alyssa's grandmother couldn't help but love him.

Kernel is very sweet and gentle with his Great Nana, and he also understands that she's already quite old. Whenever Nana's in bed, Kernel would spend time with her by keeping an eye on her. He would rest his big head at the end of the bed and just be with his Great Nana. Here's a heartwarming video of Kernel spending time with his Great Nana.
