Woman Rescues Dog From Living A Life In Chains And Gave Him Freedom

Dogs are not meant to be chained. The only time that we use a chain or a leash is when we’re out walking them to prevent them from running off and getting lost. Unfortunately, not all dog owners understand this and end up keeping their dogs chained up even at home.

A woman named Rachael happened to come across a chained-up dog that resembled a Belgian Malinois. The dog’s name is Hunter and he’s one of the friendliest dogs that Rachael met. Despite never meeting Rachael before, Hunter was excited to see another human that came to keep him company.

Hunter desperately wanted to play and be touched that he pulled on his chain just to get near Rachael. The shorter leash that he was on didn’t allow him to move around much. Hunter’s owner stated that they don’t walk Hunter regularly because he was too much to handle.

When Rachael asked if Hunter is for sale, the man immediately said yes. After buying Hunter, she immediately took Hunter out on a walk. Hunter was very curious and acted like everything he was experiencing was his first time. Hunter was free to roam around Rachael’s backyard and he also got to experience playing with dog toys for the first time.

Hunter proved to be an intelligent dog and was so eager to learn. Rachael also found that Hunter was a little uncomfortable with men and decided to help Hunter with this fear by letting her boyfriend walk Hunter and give him some positive reinforcement.

After a week of taking care of Hunter, Rachael admits that she got a little attached to him. However, she also knew that her home isn’t the right home for Hunter. Rachael came into contact with a woman named Kylie who’s from an animal rescue organization called Rubicon Rescue.

Eventually, Kylie fostered Hunter and let him run around her yard. Rachael also got to see the video showing Hunter having the best time of his life in his new home. Here’s a video featuring Hunter and how he was rescued by Rachael.
