Woman Finds A Dog Outside Her Restaurant, Thinks He Was A Stray But He Really Wasn’t

A restaurant owner from a small village in South Korea was about to start her day when she discovered a huge surprise waiting for her. When she opened the door of her store, she saw a white dog waiting by the doorstep. She didn’t think it was much of a big deal, so she let the dog be and expected he would be gone within a few hours.

The owner thought the dog was a stray who only needed to take a quick rest. But when darkness soon came, she was aghast to see the animal was still there. He was in the same spot and did not even move an inch.

Two days quickly went by, and the owner realized something wasn’t right. The dog, which she thought was a stray, took his place in front of the restaurant and refused to leave. He claimed it to be his own.

The kind woman knew she had to do something for the dog, so she began to search for help. While waiting, she gave him food and water, but he didn’t like to eat or drink. She also encouraged him to get inside the dining area when it rained, but he declined. So instead, she gave him some blankets and an umbrella to cover him from the drizzle.

Soon enough, the kind woman got in contact with local rescuers who helped identify if the dog was indeed a stray or a lost puppy. They asked around but none of the locals knew him.

The rescuers noticed the dog had clean fur and trimmed nails. They also discovered he follows basic commands and knows a few tricks. Considering all the circumstances, it was safe to assume he wasn’t a stray but a household pet instead.

From the village, the rescuers took the dog to the animal hospital, where the vets revealed he had a late-stage heartworm infection and it was probably the reason why he was abandoned. He underwent intensive treatment for a whole month. And while it was touch and go at first, he pulled through just fine and his health was back to normal.

It was great news when the dog recovered. But once he was ready to leave the hospital, he received an even more enormous revelation. A beautiful couple saw him on social media and offered him a home. And once he arrived, they named him Mideum.
