UPS Driver Uploads Photos Of Cute Dogs Along His Route And Makes A Facebook Page

If you are not living under the sea, then you must have heard, seen or interacted with a UPS driver at least once in your life. Thousands of drivers roam the streets of America, but one of them makes the fur community grateful for what he did.

Sean McCarren, who lives in Martinsburg, West Virginia, is a driver working at a UPS center in Hagerstown, Maryland. When out and about, many furry friends would greet him along the routes he serves. He soon became a familiar face to some pets who would get excited seeing him in the big brown truck.

Overwhelmed with fondness for these pets, he began snapping adorable pictures. Images of four-legged customers soon flooded his phone gallery, so he uploaded them to one of his personal Facebook accounts.

His post elicited a lot of responses, even from his fellow UPS drivers. Since then, Sean would receive snapshots of dogs taken by other drivers while servicing their respective routes. After a long day at work, seeing these dogs somehow made their days better. And just like that, Sean had a light bulb moment that would become an internet hit.

Sharing the great feeling he has whenever he saw pictures of smiling dogs with wagging tails, he decided to create a Facebook page in 2013 dedicated to all the pets encountered by the lovely UPS drivers. It became their avenue to share photos and stories. One post sparked another reaching 1.6M likes and has over five thousand images.

The viral UPS Dogs Facebook account shows dogs of every breed joyfully greeting their favorite brown man. Some pictures are of eager dogs inside the truck, apparently looking for biscuits or treats. Other photos depict dogs that are willing assistants in delivering parcels. But most are of sweet pooches merely showing their love.

As making deliveries day in and day out can become quite a routine, it is up to our hard-working drivers to break the ice. And there is nothing better to break it with than the warm affection and smile these Fido willingly brings.

So if you want to brighten up your day, browse through their albums for your daily dose of happy pill. Enjoy!
