Since dogs are highly trainable animals, most airports hire their services. Of course, this is after the dogs pass the necessary battery tests of becoming a detection canine. As detection canine, dogs at the airport are tasked to sniff possible explosives that could be taken to other countries. This has been the job of this detective canine named TTirado.

For more than eight years, the pooch worked with the Indianapolis Airport, where he got partnered with Keith Gray. Gray has become the dog’s partner-in-crime in the fulfillment of his duties. According to Gray, it was not difficult to work with the pooch. This is because the dog has a high intelligent quotient in exercising the work he does. Gray mentioned that the pooch knows what he is doing, so the officer’s task has become easier.

Since he works for the airport, the pooch is not allowed to play with tennis balls. TTirado’s favorite toy is a tennis ball because he finds joy in catching it. But despite the restriction to play tennis balls, the dog would often get this reward once he does a good job.

According to Gray, this is the administration’s way of keeping the dog inspired to work. Whenever the dog does his job exceptionally well, the reward would be the tennis ball. Through this, Gray believes that TTirado has excelled in his line of work. The dog is always inspired to be better because he knows that the reward is to play with tennis balls.

But just like other professions, TTirado also needs retirement. This is why after eight years with this kind of work, TTirado finally bade farewell to the airport. As a token of appreciation for the pooch, the airport management gave the pooch dozens of tennis balls to enjoy during his retirement days.
