This Dog Needs To Be Part Of Everything Her Mom Does But Not When It Involves The Broom Or The Vacuum Cleaner

Olive, a Bully, once belonged to a breeder who used her for money. After a while, she ended up on the streets, all alone and scared of people. Thankfully, Good Samaritans found her. They removed her from the streets and transferred her to the care of Fresno Bully Rescue, a no-kill animal shelter in Sanger, California.

Once she successfully received her clean bill of health, Olive moved to her foster home. She sure had a great time with her foster family but she didn’t stay with them for long. Because in no time, her new mom and dad, Amanda and Brett, came to bring her home.

The dog instantly felt part of the family and not for one second did she feel like she was an outsider. She got along with everyone, and she easily built connections with each of them, even with Frank, the family’s first rescue dog.

Frank wasn’t used to being with other people or dogs. He didn’t have time to socialize with anyone. But when he met Olive, he had no issues having her around. He accepted her like he’s known her for years.

Olive and Frank were best friends and they sure had a great time together. So when he finally crossed the rainbow bridge, she felt like she lost half of her life. She was so sad that she rather hid under the bed than play.

Losing Frank was a real struggle for Olive. Thankfully, she’s now able to focus her attention on something else. She helps raise her human baby sister and she protects him with her life. She also helps her mom with household holds, except when it involves sweeping or vacuuming the floor.

As soon as Amanda starts sweeping, Olive will be on the move. At first, she acts frightened and then walks away. But seconds later, she charges at the broom and immediately tries to eat it.

Olive isn’t like any other dog. She is weird and she doesn’t know how to be a dog, as Amanda says. But no matter her quirkiness, she will always be loved by her family.
