Smart Pug Plays Rock-Paper-Scissors With Owner

A clip went viral about a pug playing rock-paper-scissors with his owner. In the video, the smart doggo played the game to “win” his children back from his hooman. The pug’s owner would always show his move first and let the dog choose what to pick after, and the pug outplayed him every time.

The pug in the viral video, Er Bao, always plays around with his dad and can perfectly imitate his actions. The doggo ensures that his human doesn’t spend too much time playing on his phone and would stop him if he’s already playing for so long. Er Bao is a clever dog, and according to his daddy, he can read humans’ expressions.

Whenever someone was feeling angry, this adorable dog would sense it and would kiss them to make them feel better. Er Bao has also been helpful around his humans and would fetch them tissue rolls or their slippers. Whenever you find yourself in a bathroom with no tissue, this pug will come to your rescue.

Er Bao’s human dad said that it only took his pug 20 minutes to learn how to play rock-paper-scissors. Before they filmed the viral clip, they practiced playing 10 minutes each game, and the smart dog quickly picked up on it. Every time his owner showed him scissors or paper, Er Bao would point at the hammer or the scissors on the floor to counter his move.

It’s extraordinary how the pug learned such a trick in just a short amount of time, usually a stunt like that takes some time for a dog to learn. There’s no denying that Er Bao is one intelligent doggo. Watch how Er Bao beat his owner in a game of rock-paper-scissors to win his puppies in the video below.
