The Doggy

Shar Peis With Sensitive Hearing Get A Soundproof Room

Boddal and Boma live near a kindergarten. Every time the kids would start playing, the two dogs would bark at them. All their barking would scare the kids off.

Their father has reprimanded them multiple times, but they won't stop. Their father has described their behavior as obsessive. This is because they do it every time the kids start playing.

It was not normal behavior for the two dogs because when school is out, they never bark that strongly. This concerned their owner.

The family has received a couple of complaints from parents. Parents have reported that Boddal and Boma are scaring their children. Their barking resulted in children refusing to play.

Their father brought them to a vet to see if the doctor can help him figure things out. The doctor assessed the dogs after hearing their father's concern. It seems that their skin was covering their eyes.

Shar Peis are known if having excess folds of skin. Boddal and Boma's skin folds are blocking their vision. Because of this, they have become highly sensitive to sounds and vibrations.

It has become so bothersome for the two canines. Boma would even stop in the middle of nursing his son so she can bark at the children. All the noise that the kids were making was physically hurting them. The dogs just wanted the sound to go away.

All the noise that the children were making was irritating for Boddal and Boma. Since they are very sensitive to sound, all the ruckus was bothering them. The doctor and their father thought of a strategy to help the dogs.

Their father made them a soundproof room. Their owner wanted to make sure that they become comfortable. Boddal and Boma can barely hear anything in the room, which is what they needed. Now, Boma can nurse her four-day-old son in peace.
