Rescuer Was Surprised To Find Another Animal In Need While Rescuing A Dog

A man named Chris Ouwerkerk is a rescue driver for the Michigan Humane Society.

He gets called now and then to drop by an area for a rescue.

It was one of those days. Cold and dreary, it was raining. It felt like it was freezing — all the more important today to rescue the animals in need.

As he heard from dispatch the rescue site was a neighbrhood familiar to him. It was not long when he spotted a puppy.

The puppy was hiding in between two or three garbage cans trying to keep from getting wet in the rain.

Maybe the only place nearby to find refuge.

Ouwerkerk whistled to the puppy and got his attention.

Happily, the puppy ran to him.

Ouwrkerk petted and cuddled the little canine.

All of a sudden, when he lifted him, he heard a loud meow behind the trash cans.

Startled, he reached to the very back and found a tiny kitten hiding there.

The kitten was also very friendly, someone finally came by!

Ouwerkerk continued to pet her and hug her.

It was clear to Ouwerkerk that the two have been snuggling together to keep each other warm.

He also discovered that they want to stay together.

So Ouwerkerk brought them to his vehicle and drove on to the vet.

In the clinic, they both insisted on staying together. It was really cute.

These two were there for each other during bad times.

They wanted to be there for each other especially during the good times.

The people from the vet clinic named them Camarin and Tomas.

They are the best of friends.

These two buddies, at a young age, understand what friendship is supposed to be like.

They have survived being homeless together, and now they will continue their journey together into a new beginning.

`It’s incredible how two animals can form such a solid and loyal friendship.

Thanks, Chris for rescuing them.
