Old Dog Dumped To Be Euthanized Gets Second Chance

Irresponsible dog owners exist. They take on pet dogs but only end up dumping them because they can’t bear the responsibility of owning one.

It’s important to remember that having a pet dog also has its responsibilities that you need to fulfill. Besides, we all need to remember a pet dog should be part of our family.

A dog named Emu is a senior dog who had a rough life. Just because he was old, his previous owners accompainied him to  the veterinarian office to get euthanized.

Emu also devloped mange and was in bad shape when he arrived at the veterinarian.

However, the veterinarian knew that Emu had so much life in him and refused to put him down . Instead, he suggested to his family that they take him to an event called ‘Sidewalk Specials’ Adoption Day.

Although Emu is a senior dog, he found a foster home where he healed emotionally and physically. He was able to get  ready to go to a forever home.

Emu joined  his new foster parents. They joined  him as he went to the  veterinarian recieving treatment for his disease. They sure did shower him with love and affection.

Soon enough, Emu decided to come out of his shell, He reverted back to the playful and friendly dog he really was.

Emu’s coat made a wonderfu change it began to look  better than the first time the veterinarian saw him. He really looked like a different animal altogether.

His demeanor and trust towards humans improved as well.

After a couple of months  with his new foster parents, Emu found another longterm  loving home. Because of this change he took on a new name also!  Nutzie, is now his handle and he settled right in.

His permanant owners  love him even more.

Nutzie also has a new playmate named Sahara. The two dogs are inseparable and enjoy their time playing together and cuddling each other.

Here’s a heartwarming video of how Nutzie found a forever home and a new best friend.
