It is said that it is in a dog’s general nature to be amiable, caring, and considerate with their fellow dogs’ welfare.
Just like humans, most of them have a soft spot for others.
That is why it is not surprising to hear about stories of animals looking after other animals.
This is true for a dog named Pirate who is fond of adopting abandoned or orphaned puppies.
According to Pirate’s foster parent, Gabi Vannini, her five-year-old pet dog loves to cuddle and help bathe other dogs.
And she even likes feeding them milk.
Gabi added that she is very proud of her pet dog’s good behavior, although Pirate herself has gone through a terrible experience in the past.
According to Gabi, Pirate came from a location together with almost 100 dogs and three cats from a Michigan hoarder’s home.
The poor animals were all found walking in their urine and manure.
Pirate had just given birth to two little puppies that time, so Gabi took the puppies with her as well.
Gabi worked on adopting Pirate as soon as possible while she also searched for foster homes able to accommodate the two puppies.
Later on, Gabi adopted other puppies also.
They were all delivered by Pirate.
Pirate indeed has a naturally caring attitude; hence, she cares for other puppies as if they were her own.
Even more interesting is the fact that Pirate did not just take care of puppies;
She also played mother to a kitten.
There was one time when Gabi brought home a flea-infested kitten.
This poor thing, of course, required immediate attention.
Just the same she loves mothering other rescued animals.
Pirate helped to feed the kitten and also stayed by its side all the time.
It is such a nice to see animals willing to spend time and share their love with others.
This serves as an inspiration to humans.
This act demonstrates that if animals can do it, then people can do it too.
