Mother Dog Was Sad That Her Litter Of Newborn Puppies Couldn’t Play With Her

It’s fascinating how our doggos can have multiple personalities all rolled into one big ball of fur. On some occasions, we can expect our pet pups to be responsible and protect the house from intruders and other animals that could hurt us. But most of the time, they are just silly little goofballs that simply want to play games.

They love playing so much that it doesn’t even matter if they just gave birth to a litter of puppies. When it’s time to play, it’s time to play! But what the dog mother did in the viral video below is just totally hilarious. Perhaps her motherly instincts switched off for a minute as she basically wanted to play ball with her puppies!

This video was uploaded by 25-year-old dog mom Sheridan Pulsipher. It shows a Fox Red Labrador named Liberty looking at her litter of puppies. At first, we thought that the mother dog was just having a sweet moment with her puppies. But when Liberty looked at Sheridan, the doggo looked pretty upset!

It turned out that Liberty brought her toy ball to the dog pen so that she and her puppies could play. And upon seeing that nobody was interested in what Liberty wanted to do, the dog mother got upset. We’re not exactly sure what this pooch was thinking, perhaps she just felt bored and wanted to break the ice.

Liberty’s puppies were all lying on the floor, and most of them were asleep. So even if the pups could actually play with their mom, they’re not exactly in the playing mood at that time. Just be patient, Liberty! Pretty soon, these puppers will be running around the house, and you’ll have unlimited hours of playtime.

We can’t help but feel sad for her, though, as she had this sad look on her face as if she were heartbroken because her puppies wouldn’t play with her. Check out the lovely clip of Liberty and her litter below.
