Mango, a four-year-old lovebird parrot, lived up to the name of his breed. And the 13-year-old dog named Bella knew it better than anyone else. This was because the two were the best of friends.
According to Corie Trezon, the duo’s mom, Mango and Bella met four years ago. Corie actually brought the lovebird home as a gift for her daughter. However, she saw that the bird became attached to Bella right off the bat.
Since then, Mango and Bella became inseparable. There were even occasions when Mango would piggyback on Bella as the dog walks around the house. They even share food at mealtimes. And because Mango was so close to the senior Bolognese pup, he understood what dog treat meant.
The internet loves Mango and Bella
Mango and Bella are gradually becoming popular on the internet. At present, the two have an Instagram account with more than seven thousand followers.
Their Instagram account features their different adventures and shenanigans. There is one video that shows them going upstairs to find out the source of the noise that’s been bugging them. As Bella ascends the stairs excitedly, Mango is just chilling on her back.
Another video shows them enjoying the windy day on the patio. Mango is just observing the trees surrounding them, but he then comes towards Bella, looks up at her, and appears to talk to her. So cute!
