Malamute Behaves Oddly When Ducks Are Around And His Owner Figured Out What The Reason Was

With dogs, there’s always something they do that makes us wonder what on earth set them off. This Malamute named Phil got his owner puzzled by his odd behavior whenever they go to a park with ducks. Phil just goes crazy and that got his mom wondering.

This little family always goes out together, and trips to the park aren’t a new thing for the dogs. Phil and his Malamute siblings Niko and Teddy love it, and so one bright afternoon, they all went for a lovely walk in a park with a duck pond.

Phil was chill at first, and then he suddenly barked and wanted to go down the duck pond. Mom didn’t quite know what got his furry boy to behave this way, but she soon found out that the reason wasn’t really the ducks.

She discovered that it was only when her daughter threw some breadcrumbs at the ducks that Phil reacted. This meant the dog wanted the breadcrumbs for himself, and he was jealous because the treat he wanted was being given away to the birds!

It’s a good thing that mom figured out the reason for Phil’s odd behavior. Now, she can plan to have Phil far away from the ducks during feeding time. By doing this, Phil would no longer have a reason to be jealous, so it’s a win-win for all.

Teddy and Niko were content to just chill and sit by their human dad, and pretty soon, we’re positive that Phil would join the chill gang. He just needs to be given bread chunks, and then he’s all good. He couldn’t care less about the ducks swimming in the water.

As long as no one in his family feeds the ducks, he’ll be a good boy, right Phil? What can we say, dogs do be crazy sometimes!
