We meet many different people during our lifetime. Some of them become our best friends. But only those who ever had a dog have genuinely experienced the real meaning of friendship. This story from Tennessee again proves how essential dogs are to humans.
When Kathy from Love Me Tender Animal Rescue saw a near a highway, she stopped to see whether the animal needed help. When she saw a dog, she knew this one wasn’t a homeless dog.
Although they bonded perfectly, Kathy couldn’t be calm knowing the dog’s family could be somewhere out there looking for a beloved pet. She decided to get back on the highway, where she found her new friend to explore a bit. She discovered there might have been a car accident because she noticed some broken ones.
Kathy recalled seeing medics and police officers there a few weeks back, so she was sure there was a car accident. Kathy spotted a pile of items dragged from the crashed car and a candle named Michelle. She called the highway patrol for more information. Kathy has some great news.
The accident was a serious one, but the family managed to survive. The woman from the accident was Michelle, and Kathy was sure that the dog belonged to her. She supposed that the dog was left behind when the family was safe. Kathy felt she had to do everything possible to reunite the dog with her owners.
That happened very soon. Joe and Michelle Kelly and their three children reunited with their dog. They were over the moon because they missed her so much. After that, the Kellys were relocated into a temporary home where no dogs were forbidden.
Kathy took care of Ella until Kelly was financially stable enough to find a new home because their medical expenses were Kelly’s significant.
