A Little help at the Store
Ever wish you knew someone who ran errands reliably? They ask no questions. No Whining “do I have to go again.” Forget the, “I’m too busy send some else?” Tell them what you need, send them on their way and a bit later; It’s done.
Sounds like your kids, Right? Well, maybe not so much.
Let me tell you of a little guy in Brazil that the story describes well.
You are wondering how old he is. Is he big enough to get to the store himself? Will he make it back ok on his own. “And the answer is…” Yes, definitely.
You will never guess that he is a Brazillian doggie!
He goes by the name Pituco. Everyone in his town knows him and about his performance.
You see daily he is sent off to the market for provisions. The storekeeper has to assist him with upper shelved items. Sometimes he barks until the right package is handed down to him.
Pituco does not have any pockets,
so the store owner writes up a ticket for Pituco’s family to reimburse later.
The family calls ahead letting the store know what to send. In rushes Pituco. A bark and a tail wag to receive his bag of goodies. And out he goes back to deliver the goods.
Fantastic set of four legs.
Lowest priced delivery boy in the community. And he loves to do it. Wouldn’t we all want to have such a helper at hand?
Do you think your dog would be willing or able to get to the store and back independently?
Tell us what you think. We love to hear your stories.
Our thanks to Pituco for the performance
