Sometimes, we can’t fall asleep quickly, but we still have to do it. And guess what — even some dogs can have this problem, too!
Like everybody else, Puti, a red Pitbull puppy, had trouble falling asleep one night. He was already in his bed inside the cage, yet he didn’t feel like sleeping.
As you can see in the short video below, Puti’s eyes have this pleading look that makes him adorable. He kept staring at someone as if asking for help to feel sleepy. And that certain someone is surprisingly none other than his fur parent, Dad.
Puti’s dad noticed that his dog was missing something, and that’s why he had a hard time falling asleep. So he asked the adorable dog, “You need daddy to sing to you to go to sleep, my baby?”
Yet Puti’s face didn’t change at all. Only when his dad started to sing a lullaby based on the song of Sarah McLachlan’s hit entitled ‘In the Arms of an Angel.’ That’s when Puti’s face broke into a smile as if he finally found what he was looking for.
His dad’s song also started to trigger him to feel sleepy. We all agree that it is hard to resist your favorite lullaby. So Puti eventually put his head down beside his toy and closed his eyes while listening to his customized lullaby. What a sweet pup!
However, Puti seems so in love with his lullaby that he immediately opens his eyes right after his dad stops singing. It’s as if he wanted to say, “Why did you stop, Dad? I’m not yet asleep?” In that way, it left his dad no choice but to smile at his baby and, for sure, continue to serenade his adorable dog.
