Even if you take all the necessary precautions, your dog can still get into trouble while you are away. Michelle Anderson, a dog mom, returned home from work one day to find a crime scene, but the canine offender was quickly identified.
On her way home one day, Anderson noticed Candy and her brother, Spike, waiting in the window. When near, Anderson noticed that the girl dog’s face had some white powder, and she wondered what kind of food she had received.
When Anderson entered the house, Candy’s sloppy face greeted him, as well as a bag of flour that she had opened and spread all over the place. Candy looked at Anderson as if she did not know what had happened, but her flour-covered face told the whole story.
There were flour footprints all over the room and down the hall. Candy alone had destroyed the flour bag; she knew right away because Spike was spotless while Candy was not. Spike’s taste is a little more refined than his sister’s.
The dog mom, Michelle Anderson, shared that her dogs only want her, but they will come to you if you have food. As for Candy, she has always been a wary dog who takes a long time to become complacent to strangers, but only if they bring her food.
Many people believe she has warmed up, but it is back to normal once you do not have food in your hands. Candy will go to any length to get her hands on some food, even if it means causing some chaos.
Anderson decided not to scold Candy because, in the first place, she was the one who had left the bag of flour, and her flour-covered face was enough punishment.
