Dogs are silly, and that’s why we love them. But as much as we love them and think of how adorable they are, they often do silly things that leave us shaking our heads and bursting into laughter.
Most of the time, these memorable moments involve food. Doodle the dog is the perfect example.
One fine day, Doodle’s fur mom, Brandy Stenzel, was happily doing laundry when she realized her three-legged, spotted fur baby was nowhere to be found.
That was unusual since Doodle usually stays with her mom at home. With her mysterious absence, Stenzel had to take action.
She searched every nook and cranny of her home and even went outside, hoping to spot her, but Doodle was nowhere in sight. Stenzel got nervous.
Suddenly, she heard a crunching sound. Stenzel combed through her house again to find the noise source, hoping it would be Doodle.
She checked her food bowl, but no Doodle was still in sight. She then decided to check the food container. Guess who she found. It was the cunning Doodle enjoying her solo food feast!
Doodle could have exited the same way she entered her food receptacle, but Stenzel knew her dog didn’t want to. She enjoyed staying inside. Who wouldn’t want to be stuffed full of delicious food?
The funny dog consumed more goodies before jumping out of the food container to give her pet parent a guilty look.
After the incident, Doodle has a new feeding container that is snugger and safer.
She was unfortunate, but she still hoped that one day her mother would forget to shut the lid, allowing her to return for another binge-eating spree!
