Dog Left All Alone After Its Owner Was Brought To The Hospital Was Saved By Animal Shelter Workers

When a person is hospitalized, their dogs are frequently left behind. Thus, patients hospitalized for an extended period may lose their furry companions, particularly if their owners do not have friends or relatives to care for them.

Cincinnati Animal CARE is aware of how important it is for pets to be with their humans during difficult times. Consequently, when a fur parent was hospitalized, they ensured that the dog was not mistreated. Their team provided the puppy with transportation and the affection she required.

A patient was admitted to a hospital in Ohio without knowing how long he would remain there. He was concerned for his dog, who was left home alone. Therefore, the patient made arrangements for his dog to stay at Animal ArkPet Resort, a pet boarding facility. However, he had no one to transport the dog there.

Thankfully, a hospital social worker assisted and contacted Cincinnati Animal CARE. Together, the community support section of the shelter and the Hamilton County Dog Wardens assisted the patient’s dog.

As arranged, a shelter employee picked up the dog and delivered her to the animal resort. Nevertheless, he made sure the puppy received tons of affection first.

According to a Facebook post by Cincinnati Animal CARE, their officer pacified the disoriented canine and even took her for a walk before transporting her to the boarding facility. She is currently waiting for her owner to be released from the hospital.

In addition to the animal shelter, the pet resort deserves recognition for accommodating the dog despite the uncertain future. According to the facility, the staff lavishes the dog with affection.

With any luck, the sufferer will heal quickly so he can rejoin his beloved dog. For the time being, though, it is sufficient to know that his best friend is in good hands.
