Dog Abandoned At The Airport Rescued And Received A Lot Of Support

Some dogs are abandoned not because they deserve to be unloved, but because of circumstance.

It is hard for some people to abandon or surrender their dogs at the shelter. Unfortunately, some situations prohibit them from taking care of their beloved four-legged companion. It breaks their hearts to leave their dogs at the center.

One dog was left at the bathroom at Las Vegas airport, but his owner left a message to whoever finds him.

Chewy, a 3-month-old Chihuahua, was left by his owner at the Las Vegas airport bathroom with a handwritten note beside him. Chewy has injuries on his head, an indication that he was abused.

The note found beside Chewy was written in a first-person tone. It was mentioned there that his previous owner could not take him with her because she cannot afford to pay a fare for her. It was also noted that his owner was in an abusive relationship, and Chewy was kicked by the boyfriend, which caused a head injury. Also, the letter said that Chewy might need to be checked by a vet and his owner loves him.

Airport authorities turned Chewy over to Connor and Millie’s Dog Rescue for treatment and rehabilitation.

Chewy’s story became viral on social media that a lot of people signified their intentions on adopting him. Others were also raising an amount so that he will be reunited with his previous owner.

Connor and Millie’s Dog Rescue would soon be putting Chewy for adoption once he recovers from his injuries. However, should his previous owner surfaces and decided to take him back, they would be glad to give Chewy to her.

For sure, Chewy would have a happy ending.

We can’t wait to know more about Chewy’s progress!
