When Rosalie was born, the vets noticed that something wasn't right. Rosalie was born in a vet clinic and was diagnosed with a rare disease that would forever affect the way she moves.
Rosalie is afflicted with cerebellar hypoplasia. A condition that means she has an underdeveloped cerebellum, which is a part of the brain the controls motor movements.
When Rosalie was little, she involuntarily flips upside down in the middle of a movement. The little puppy couldn't stand up and would just regularly lay on her side or back.
Despite all the difficulties, Sasha, an employee at the clinic, care for Sasha since the puppy was born. Aside from the disability, nothing else is wrong with Rosalie. She's a brilliant puppy.
Sasha started to develop items to help Rosalie coordinate her movements. It was Sasha's first time dealing with a CH dog, but that didn't stop her from doing her best. With advice from the vet, she started giving Rosalie training for muscle memory.
The most significant turning point in Rosalie's life was when she got her first set of wheels. At first, she had no idea what was going on. Eventually, Rosali grew accustomed to the training wheels and started to take off.
Rosalie can now go out outside and sniff around like an average dog. Her determination is also commendable. Unlike when she was a puppy Rosalie can now sit up.
Rosalie is an inspiration to Sasha. The vet employee says that she's learned a lot from raising Rosalie. Sasha learned to be patient most of the time. She learned the power of never giving up and having general optimism. Rosalie is indeed a special dog.
