Curious Labrador Hilariously Gets Flustered Over Elephant Neighbors

It’s not quite unusual for us to see dogs interacting with animals from different species. Even if they don’t share the same communication methods, canines find a way to forge the best of friendships with the animals they meet.

Yet, a Labrador’s more bewildered than happy upon seeing a group of elephants visits it on their property. Though the elephants merely peek at the doggo, it can’t help but glance back at fur parent for some assurance.

Ooh, so big!

In this adorable yet funny footage, one can initially see a Labrador named Riley sightseeing on their vast lawn. Yet, Riley isn’t alone in the area as one can notice a herd of elephants peeking through the bushes.

At first, Riley and the elephants stare at each other as if they’re sizing each other up. But, the elephants’ presence piques the Labrador’s curiosity as he cranes forward to have a better look at them.

Thus, both Riley and the elephants hold a staring contest. Yet, the elephants seem to want to have a closer interaction with the Labrador as they take tentative steps towards the area where Riley’s in.

Mom? What’re they doing?

But, the elephants seem to change their minds as they choose to stay behind the bushes and keep their distance from Riley. Yet, the giant mammals’ movements fluster the dog, ultimately prompting him to take a few steps back.

Riley then glances in fur parent’s direction, silently asking him what those gigantic animals are. With the way things look, the Labrador’s on the alert on the elephants’ next move even if they’re only gazing at him from a distance.
