Not all heroes wear capes, the adage goes. But it looks like they all don a uniform. Not those fancy lycra or leather ensemble that glitter or shine to perfection.
Sometimes, heroes wear a working man's uniform. Take for instance the subject of our story–a courier wearing, well, a courier's uniform. What makes this man in uniform special is that he was able to save a dog in danger by listening to his heroic instinct.
The courier was hauling packages off an elevator. A poodle was observing him while he worked. After he completed his task, he noticed that the poodle was about to enter the elevator and the door was about to shut close.
Without thinking twice, the courier let go of his package and saved the dog from getting trapped.

There's no telling what kind of misery the poodle could have suffered if it had not for the quick action by the courier. Take note of this unassuming working man that did a heroic deed, and we will celebrate. The best part is that this hero does not even flaunt his heroism.
We are all obsessed with heroes. The popularity of the Avengers franchise is a testament to our fascination with otherworldly lifesavers. But more often, the real heroes walk among us unnoticed and unappreciated.
