Dogs have become an integral part of the family, especially in the context of those who are dog lovers. These people will make sure that they would let their pooch feel they are loved in one way or another.

However, sometimes, certain events happen to the family, particularly in the life of a couple. It is common for a couple to expect the coming of a baby as a new part of the family. And once this happens, the dog might feel ostracized. More so, the dog could think the baby is his or her rival for their parents’ attention.

While this happens, this is not true in most cases because, for dog lovers, they can still show their affection to their dogs amid the presence of a baby. Michael and Emma McGowan had a similar situation, and they just handled it the best way possible.

The two expected their first baby to come, and they felt that their fur baby Molly might feel jealous about the baby. So the two thought of a pro-active way to address the issue. One of which is creating a bedroom solely for Molly.

At first, the couple did not know where to put the bedroom. Michael then had a brilliant idea to put the bedroom in the vacant space between their stairs. Michael started the lay outing of the bedroom and soon hired a merchant to finish the job.

Michael specifically ordered that the bedroom should have enough space for Molly. Once the construction was done, Michael then designed the new bedroom. He put a lamp inside as well as pillows to make Molly’s room cozier.

He also put a doormat outside of the bedroom with a sign ‘One Spoiled Dog’ signaling that they love their dog and would do everything to make her feel at home. But more than the new bedroom, Molly soon met her new baby sister.

According to the couple, Molly is very gentle with the baby, and the pooch makes sure that her sister is safe all times.
