As children, most of us believed that cats and dogs do not get along. We’ve seen many cartoons showing these two creatures as great enemies of each other, so it’s difficult for us to imagine they may genuinely be friends.

Dogs and cats can coexist in the same household, and it is even possible for them to become the best of friends.

Rooney, a lovely and friendly Corgi, is infatuated with cats. When Rooney spots a cat, he becomes so thrilled that his rear begins to wiggle rapidly.

Considering Rooney’s passion for cats, Natalie, his mother, considered adopting one for him. She knew it would make him really happy.

However, Natalie was unsure whether Rooney and the cat she planned to adopt would get along. Therefore, she and her husband decided to foster a cat first and see what would happen. The fur mom decided to foster one named Olive.

Olive was initially apprehensive of Rooney, but as she saw that he just wanted to play, she began to form a bond with him. Rooney and Olive finally became great friends and spent the entire day playing, chasing each other, and cuddling when they were both exhausted or sleeping.

When Natalie observed how close Olive and Rooney were, she knew that this foster situation would be a foster fail. In fact, she also fostered two additional kittens, Nai’a and Bobbie, who were also foster fails.

Now that Rooney has three cats, he is having the best time being their big brother.

Olive was undoubtedly Rooney’s favorite, and they would remain together forever. Bobby and Nai’a like Rooney’s company, and they have also shown to be incredibly adorable and cuddly.

Rooney and his cat siblings offer a great deal of happiness to their home. Natalie is unable to imagine her family without Rooney and his kittens.
