Dogs are loyal to their humans, but they also pledge allegiance to their favorite toy.
It could be a ball, a fake bone, or a plushie. As for the cocker spaniel named Habs,
he couldn't bear to be away from his giant teddy bear.

Habs came to be friends with his teddy bear when he was only a puppy.
The toy initially belonged to his human buddy, Jacqueline Estey. But three years ago,
Habs now owns the bear, and since treats him as his best friend.
According to Jacqueline, Habs would always take the bear wherever he goes.
If you pick the bear up, the dog would follow you around and wait until you put it down.
Evidently, Habs is very fond of his friend and would do anything to keep him near.
Waiting by the washer
The bear has been dingy and dirty with all the dragging and playing Habs does with it.
So Jacqueline decided to dump it into the washer to give it a thorough cleaning, without the dog's knowledge.
Apparently, the case of the missing bear got the dog very worried.
When Jacqueline realized that Habs was not following her and her pooch has been gone for too long,
she went around the house to inspect.
She found Habs sitting in front of the washer, staring closely at the bear spinning inside.
Jacqueline found it hilarious because Habs never waited on anything in the washer.
It was also cute and heart-melting at the same time.
But Habs' worries didn't end there.
Later that night, Jacqueline did not find the pooch anywhere in her room.
She went to search for Habs and saw him, sitting yet again, in front of the washer.
He was scratching at the door of the dryer as if trying to pry it open.
Jacqueline led Habs downstairs where his bear was, clean and fresh after the wash.
The dog promptly laid down beside his best friend and slept soundly through the night.
Whether you're a human or a stuffed bear, you can always count on your dog's loyalty to.
