Animal Rescuers Save Dog Who Had A Plastic Jar Stuck On Head For Four Days

Stray dogs will try to look for food anywhere they can. They will use their noses to sniff out food out of every corner so that they could have something to eat and not starve to death. Unfortunately, this proved to be a bad idea for one stray pit bull.

A stray pit bull named Pickle was discovered by animal rescuers wearing an unusual headwear. Pickle got his head stuck inside a plastic jar. Rescuers suspected that Pickle was trying to look for food and may have sniffed the insides of the jar, which eventually led to him getting stuck.

With his head inside a jar, Pickle couldn’t eat or drink anything for four days. Pickle desperately needed help, or else he would starve to death. Thankfully, animal rescuers were able to catch Pickle, who was hiding in the bushes.

The animal control officers who rescued Pickle were able to pull off the jar from Pickle’s head. The jar was one of those plastic containers that contained cheeseballs, which probably smelled wonderful for dogs. After Pickle was rescued, a local animal rescue organization took Pickle in their care and is helping him feel less afraid of humans.

The adorable pit bull is a step closer to finding a loving forever family where he would have a safe and comfortable home and never worry about scavenging for food ever again. Pickle is such a sweet dog that he wouldn’t have any problems finding a family willing to adopt him. Pickle adjusted to his new life in the shelter and continued making progress.

When Pickle realized that he’s finally in a safe place with people that are there to love him, he no longer felt afraid and started showing more and more of his real personality. Anyone would definitely want to adopt such an adorable dog like Pickle. Here’s a video showing Pickle’s story and how amazing people rescued him.
