Not all puppies are born and nurtured in loving environments. Some of them, such as Ginnie, have sad and terrible histories. Ginnie's only want was to feel loved by a family, which was granted when she met her foster mother.
Ginnie's life began tragically. Her owners were cruel to her. She and her littermates were abandoned outside their home without any food or water. Ginnie and her siblings were thankfully rescued and taken to a local animal shelter.
When they arrived at the shelter, Ginnie's littermates were all quickly adopted. Ginnie, on the other hand, was overlooked.
Six months later, she bounced from one foster family to the next. The animal shelter intended to euthanize this sad dog because no one was interested in adopting her.
Ginnie likely believed that it was the end for her. However, a woman named Lauren Smith Greeno inquired about her.
Lauren has three other dogs at home, but after seeing Ginnie's sad eyes on the Internet, she decided to give this dog a chance. Therefore, Lauren applied to be Ginnie's foster mother. Lauren realized how much she needed Ginnie in her life.
The dog never experienced sleeping on a soft bed or playing with toys. Lauren has therefore made it her mission to shower Ginnie with as much affection as possible to make up for all the times she was neglected and abandoned.
Lauren fell quickly in love with Ginnie that she decided to adopt her rather than merely foster her. Ginnie is now a member of Lauren’s family. Her three wonderful siblings – Gigi, Garnet, and Gendry – made Ginnie feel welcome and at home.
Ginnie is currently living her best life. Lauren, Ginnie's mother, has given her a sense of security and confidence. This previously unloved and unappreciated dog is now lavished with so much affection by her family.
