A Loyal Dog Helps Keep His Injured Friend Lying On A Railroad Track Warm And Safe For Two Days

A video of a pooch who never left his friend’s side on an active railroad track had people marveling at the canine’s devotion.

These brave dogs risked their lives every time a train sped by, but luckily for them, their story has a happy ending.

A man named Denis Malafeyev received information from his friends that the pair of canines were spotted on a railway near the village of

Tseglovka in Ukraine. Hence, he headed there to gave the animals a hand.

Denis soon discovered that the female dog, Lucy, could not walk away from the track because she was injured.

The pooch most probably got hit by a train as she was crossing, causing her to be paralyzed.

Panda, the male dog, decided to stay by his buddy’s side no matter what.  Wow!

Whenever a train whizzed by, Panda would snuggle with Lucy.

He would tell her to duck so they wouldn’t get caught by the train buzzing by overhead.

Panda was so protective of his companion that he would not allow anyone to get near them.

This male dog’s furious bark successfully scared many people off.

Even Denis had a difficult time trying to rescue the two pooches.

It was tough for the rescuer to watch the canines hunkering down under trains over and over again.

Thankfully, Denis eventually won their trust, and he was able to carry Lucy to his car.

Of course, Panda had to ride along with them.

Denis brought the two pooches to a veterinary clinic, where doctors found that Lucy did not suffer from any broken bones, only a few bruises.

After the rescuer posted videos and photos of Panda and Lucy on Facebook, the dogs’ owners came forward to claim them.

Denis, posting about the incident, expressed his astonishment at the dog’s loyalty and love and said that most people would not do what

Panda did for his friend.

The rescuer hopes that Panda and Lucy’s story teaches us that there’s no time like the present to help someone in need.
