A Dog Was Finally Reunited With A Soldier Whom He Befriended In Iraq

Nick Pierzchalsk was a pilot in the military when he met a stray dog while stationed in Iraq. He and his fellow soldiers named her Airys. The dog was a source of joy and comfort for the soldiers in the war zone.

The soldiers built a kennel for Airys and fed her every day. They cared so much about the dog that they wanted Nick to take her with him when he returned home to the USA. They want to save Airys from the harsh environment, and they hope the dog will be able to have a better life in another country.

Nick worked with SPCA International, a nonprofit organization, to fly the dog over to the United States. The two didn’t have to wait long before they saw each other again at an airport. They had a warm reunion, and both were happy to see each other after a long time apart.

Dogs help lift your spirits, even in the darkest of times. They are dependable and trustworthy, and they are ready to be our companions at any time. Dogs are known to learn tricks easily, such as walking on two legs, fetching a ball, or even performing a task when asked by their owners.

They like to be with you regardless of your wealth or status. This is one reason why so many people prefer having dogs over cats or any other pet in this world. When a dog senses danger, it may bark, growl, or run away.

But not all dogs receive good treatment from humans. There are many cases when people abandon their pets because they cannot take care of them or because they don’t want them anymore. And in this case, it’s up to animal shelters to help these dogs find new families who would love them just as much as they deserve.
