There are a lot of things that can go wrong when giving birth. That's why it helps to have someone lend a hand during the whole process.
Amanda, the owner of Panda Paws Rescue, has been awake for hours waiting for Eggo to give birth. Eggo has been nesting, and Amanda wants to assist her when she delivers the puppies.
When a dog gives birth, the mother dog would break its membrane and stimulate the baby. When it is unable to break the membrane right away, that's where Amanda steps in. Amanda would help break it herself and stimulate the baby. This is crucial.
One needs to make sure that the puppy will inhale oxygen first and not amniotic fluid. Amanda kept in mind that she needed to focus and stay relaxed throughout the whole process.
There is no room for mistakes as the lives of the puppies are at stake. Amanda has been monitoring Eggo's progress. When Eggo's temperature dropped, that meant that the puppies were ready to come out.
Together, Amanda and Eggo delivered eight healthy babies. Eggo has five beautiful female puppies and three strong males.
This birth meant that nine lives were saved. The reason being, Eggo was sure to be put down if she was not brought to the Panda Paws Rescue. Thankfully she was, which meant that her life and the lives of her children were saved.
The delivery was indeed a celebration of life. Amanda is genuinely pleased that nine dogs get a second chance to live. If Eggo was not saved, eight puppies would have been deprived of a beautiful life on earth.
Amanda is happy that Eggo and all eight puppies are healthy. She and her daughter Jade could not wait to name the adorable little canines. They already picked their favorites and could not wait to see all of the puppies grow.
